Churchills, Hollanders and Thunderstorms
Just when we thought summer was over more storms and rain (afternoon thunderstorms). Yesterday we stopped two Dutch guests walking out into the bush in the midst of a huge afternoon thunderstorm, merrily brandishing their metal-spined umbrellas aloft. Did they even wonder why the walk-obsessed dogs didn't join them?

February was a good month for us - in fact our best month to date! And hence we buy into the sentiment espoused by the tourism fundis in SA that we have turned the corner - aided by a weakening rand and perhaps by the euro not totally going to pot over the Greeks. Late winter in Europe & GB does always see a surge in visitors doing whatever they can to get somewhere warm, and boost their Vit D feel-good levels. And I think in there somewhere is the fact that our Juju got his comeuppance from the big daddy Z weighing positive sentiment in our favour - if only a teeny bit.

Churchill's, the new family is scheduled for completion end April 2012 - hopefully just in time for lots of agents and operators traipsing through on their way down or back from Indaba.... It can be used on a self catering of fully catered for basis.

ooh, may need to book that family villa!
